Educational Ethnographer. Learning Scientist. Designer. Dreamer

Heart-driven & communally-grounded scholar.

I study learning, childhood and political imagination. I teach and write about these things too. An intention guiding my work is a desire to help educators (broadly defined) release restrictive paradigms and practice humanizing possibilities.

I’m most interested in contributing to innovative spaces of learning where Black & Brown folks can flourish and be free.

  • Children are S.A.G.E.

Children are Savvy, Artful, Grounded and Emergent. My creative and scholarly works are focused on how we learn to honor who children are and who they are becoming. When children are respected as sage, their thoughts and questions, thriving and strivings can all become resources in connecting and shaping better worlds.
